Dubai remains one of the most popular destinations for Pakistani travelers, offering modern attractions, shopping malls, cultural heritage, and luxury experiences. However, in recent months, UAE immigration has introduced strict restrictions on tourist visas for Pakistani nationals. Currently, only selected family visa applications are seeing approvals, while individual applications face higher scrutiny.

To apply for a Dubai tourist visa from Pakistan, applicants must submit clear scans of the following documents:

  • Passport’s first two pages (valid for at least 6 months)
  • CNIC front and back
Passport-sized photo with a white background
  • Families may be required to provide an FRC (Family Registration Certificate) or marriage certificate

Pakistani travelers can apply for transit and tourist visas with different validity options.

  • 48 Hours Transit Visa – Valid 1 month, stay up to 48 hours
  • 96 Hours Transit Visa – Valid 1 month, stay up to 96 hours
  • 1 Month Tourist Visa – Valid 2 months, stay up to 30 days

Currently, Pakistani nationals cannot apply for a Dubai tourist visa directly online. Applications must be submitted through a sponsor tour operator or authorized travel agency. Trip Idea assists travelers in submitting complete applications with proper documentation to maximize approval chances.

Processing Time for Dubai Visa

Dubai visa applications are usually processed within 2 to 3 working days (excluding weekends). However, due to strict immigration checks, applicants are advised to apply at least 10 days before their intended travel date to avoid any last-minute delays or complications.

Accommodation Options in Dubai

When it comes to staying in Dubai, travelers have a wide variety of choices. For budget travelers, Deira offers affordable hotels, traditional souks like the Gold and Spice markets, and easy access to the metro. For a mix of modern and cultural experiences, Bur Dubai provides mid-range hotels, local eateries, and convenient transport links. Those looking for luxury can explore areas like Downtown Dubai and Palm Jumeirah for world-class resorts.

Important Travel Note

Since UAE immigration policies for Pakistanis are currently strict, it is recommended to travel with family members and maintain all supporting documents to justify the purpose of your visit. Carrying a return ticket, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds will strengthen your case at immigration counters.
